Fort Building with STICK-LETS®

Christina Kazakia
The STICK-LETS® brand is the brainchild of industrial designer Christina Kazakia. Kazakia invented these simple, flexible and colorful stick connectors in 2011 while she was completing her thesis at the Rhode Island School of Design. Kazakia's passion for play, nature, and design empowered her to develop products to help reconnect children with the great outdoors. The ultimate goal?—to provide children with opportunities to love and care for Mother Nature through playful experiences. Sold in the USA, Canada, Europe, Japan and Australia, STICK-LETS® is marketed as a tool for nature play, STEAM education, gardening and camping. In 2014, Kazakia was featured in IDSA's Women in Industrial Design Show and recognized as one of the emerging female designers. STICK-LETS® was featured on NPR's "How You Built That" podcast and also seen in Forbes, Metropolis Magazine, Core 77, and Huffington Post. The business operates out of East Falls, Philadelphia.
