Mitch Cherny started Penn Grows out of a personal mission to improve health through sustainable food. After growing microgreens at home to support their dog’s battle with cancer, Mitch saw firsthand the powerful nutritional benefits of these tiny greens. With a background in education, science, and business, Mitch combined a passion for sustainability with an entrepreneurial spirit to launch Penn Grows, focusing on fresh, locally grown microgreens that nourish both people and pets.
