Your help is essential in making this event a truly inspiring and unforgettable experience.
We’re looking to add members to our organizing committee who will oversee

- marketing
- Nerdy Derby
- ticketing
and supporting volunteers for outreach and sponsorships. The organizing committee meets monthly in the fall and then two – four times a month as we move closer to the event. Please contact hello@phillymakerfaire.com if interested in this kind of role.
Day-before/day-of volunteers work a few hours and have free time during the event to roam and explore. If you’re interested in joining our day-before/day-of event volunteer team, complete the sign-up form or email valerie@phillymakerfaire.com.

MicroKits: Synths and Theremin Kits
You can build your own electronic musical instruments with MicroKits! Use our kit to build your own Theremin, or connect everyday objects to our synthesizer to build your own keyboard. We’ll have a banana keyboard out that you can play!
Wordplay: Poetry Collage with GrioXArts
In honor of National Poetry Month, GrioXArts will provide demonstrations and facilitate activities on how to create poetry collages. Guests will learn about short poetic forms while developing their own unique collage.
