Join us as a volunteer for Philly Maker Faire 2025! This incredible event celebrates invention, creativity, and resourcefulness—an exciting opportunity to spotlight and support home-grown innovation in the Philadelphia region. Your help is essential in making this event a truly inspiring and unforgettable experience.
Volunteers for the day of the Faire will be expected to work a few hours before, during, or after the event, and will have free time during the event to roam and explore.

MicroKits: Synths and Theremin Kits
You can build your own electronic musical instruments with MicroKits! Use our kit to build your own Theremin, or connect everyday objects to our synthesizer to build your own keyboard. We’ll have a banana keyboard out that you can play!
Custom Burnt Bookmarks with the Please Touch Museum
Use a heat gun and special markers to burn a custom design into a wooden bookmark! Brought to you by the Albert M. Greenfield Makerspace at the Please Touch Museum.

Philadelphia Beekeeper's Guild Hive Display and Sales
The Philadelphia Beekeepers Guid has been supporting bees, beekeeping, and beekeepers since 2009. We'll be showing off the tools of the trade along with some of our fuzzy little friends and selling local raw honey from our member beekeepers.
