What inspired you to make this project?
This project started about 8 years ago. As a teacher with a passion for making, I could not find a way to be allowed to bring it in my classroom. “Making” and “makerspace” were new words then, and scary to some. I thought if I wrote a book that I (and other teachers) would then be allowed to do maker-type projects under the umbrella of a lit-extension project.
